This young gemologist is not content with simply sourcing and selling them, but he is also keen to share his passion for gemology and pass on his precious knowledge.

Vision
Gemology was an inherent part of Benoît Charbonneau's training, after 6 years of Jewelry studies. After graduating and winning several awards in jewelry, the young gemologist first worked as a jeweler in the prestigious workshops of Place Vendôme in Paris, then for the famous jeweler « Chopard » in St Barths for 6 years. Before returning to France, he spent six months at the GIA in the United States to perfect his technical knowledge in gemology.
After his experience in St Barths with elite clientele, this jeweler-gemologist settled in France. After several positions in the Jewelry sector, Benoît Charbonneau's experience, knowledge and personality found an effective way to express themselves by specializing in the trading business and creating his company GEM SELECTION in 2015 in France.
Each gemstones being unique, we attach great importance to the selection of all our stones according to your requirements and expectations in order to reach a perfect realization of your creations. On each of our trips we remain in close collaboration with you, with the help of photos and videos when choosing your gemstones from the supplier countries.
